Short answer

Riequip is a New Zealand specialist in commercial-grade power equipment, trading since 1970. We supply generators, pumps, hoses, concreting equipment, compactors, water blasters, farming equipment, engines, air compressors and industrial equipment from brands including Honda, Titan, Genmac, Altrad Belle and Anderson, backed by workshops, spare parts and a nationwide service agent network.

Our history

Riequip was founded in 1970 by Lindsay Wood, who began as a small engine mechanic. In 2003 the business acquired a rural supplies operation, and in 2009 it rebranded to Riequip. The North Island branch opened in Auckland in 2016 and relocated to Penrose in 2018. As Riequip puts it: "After being in the industry for over 40 years, we know how important it is that you have the correct gear."

The customer is at the centre of everything we do. That means supplying New Zealanders with commercial-grade power equipment backed by comprehensive service and spare parts support, and customising products to help customers get their jobs done right.

Riequip supports the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter and the Rapid Relief Team.
